Studio Bijoux has released a new design in their 2010 Floor Jewels collection called Etage.
Etage meaning “take the stage” is inspired from beautiful glowing slices of Brazilian agate. The border is woven in the option of using a gold or silver colored silk. This emulates the gem having been dipped in a gold or silver coating. The pattern comes in two colorways: Amethyst (above) and Azure (below).
The rugs are hand-tufted and come in the following standard sizes: 5′ x 5′, 7′ x 7′, 8′ x 8′, 10′ x 10′,12′ x 12′. All of their rugs are made to order, and Studio Bijoux is happy to do custom sizing and coloring.

Etage does not mean ‘take the stage’. This is merely one word, not a phrase. It is not even entirely the correct word for any of the intended meaning as a stage in this sense is a ‘scène’. Perhaps learning grammatical french would be a good idea before choosing to use foreign words for a new product.

It’s a beautiful rug! Have a look at the studio’s other designs, because they obviously have an eye for design and color.
