FAN Table by Mauricio Affonso

The FAN Table by Mauricio Affonso easily transforms shapes and sizes with its innovative design. The tabletop is made from more than 400 connected slats that expand and contract to create the shape you need, while the simple, geometric base that it sits on is constructed of birch wood.

The cool thing about it is that it expands into a circle similar to a fan, hence the name. Just looking at the table in either the rectangular or circular form, you wouldn’t think that it would convert to the other – that is the brilliance of the design.

The table was shown in the PARADISE exhibition during the Milan Furniture Fair in Ventura Lambrate.
