Want to feel your toes in the grass all day long?

Remember the grass flip flops that Krispy Kreme made back in 2008? I tried to find out more about what happened to them but with no success. Anyway, a new company called KUSA has decided to make grass flip flops available to the public. What do you think? Would you wear these?

At least they probably wouldn’t make any irritating thwack-thwack-thwack noises… as other flip-flops do whilst their wearers walk.

Shuhei Hasado did it first

Definitely. I live in a polluted megalopolis and would love to feel grass under my feet.

Really, I think there’s a reason the grass flip flops didn’t make it to 2012. If you think logicaly humans sweat, so does the feet. Grass becomes slippery when wet. And to be walking on it all day long wouldn’t be quite comfortable eighter. It’ll start to irritate. Real grass is better and softer, but it wouldn’t survive the constant weight of our bodies. It will be booming from spring to summer, but disappear by fall.

Wish these were available in a beach sand version.

How much watering is required? :)
