Hardy Is a Tailored Sofa Designed to Feel like a Glove

Inspired by English tailoring, designer José Manuel Ferrero of estudi(H)ac created the Hardy sofa for Blasco&Vila. The design scales back by removing unnecessary bulk and ornamentation to result in a streamlined silhouette that leans classic while still feeling cozy like a glove.

The sophisticated sofa pays homage with both its name and design details to iconic Savile Row tailor, Edwin Hardy Amies. The sides reveal an unexpected feature with arm details that resemble American cuffs and shirts. The layered fabrics can be customized, but we love the subtle nature of the contrasting colors.
