Hinterland Design Launches Spring 2016 Collection

We’re always excited to see what Vancouver-based Hinterland Design is going to come out with as they continually keep it fresh and inspiring. Their designs focus on handcrafted pieces made from natural materials, each with their own unique twist. Take a look at the recently launched Spring 2016 collection.

HOOP AND STAVE is a coffee table made from a 12-sided stave base with floating steel hoops that give it a barrel-type feel. The solid Canadian white ash base holds a smoked gray glass top that lets you peer down inside to see the detailed wood joinery and layers of geometry it takes to make this table. It also comes in a dining table version that seats six.

PILLOWY BENCH is a solid piece of furniture reminiscent of logs washed ashore with their soft corners. An upholstered section in the middle seats two with tables on either side to rest your bag or gear.

The LITTLE GEM side table now comes in Yellow Cedar, and is available in either Salmon or Bleached. The indoor/outdoor design takes cast-off cedar logs and gives them new life as sculptural side tables.
