Back in 2007, Catherine Wagner presented a series of photographs titled The Narrative History of the Light Bulb at the Stephen Wirtz Gallery in San Francisco. Her photos were included in Oobjects “Homage to the Light Bulb,” a post that offers a brief look at the design of one of civilization’s most epic achievements: the incandescent bulb. Hopefully future incarnations of modern lighting will be as artfully presented.
