IDSwest 2011: Opus Hotel

While covering the IDSwest 2011 show I had the chance to stay at the Opus Hotel, a very stylish 96-room boutique hotel in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Yaletown. The staff at the Opus was some of the best I’ve experienced; from front of house to the maids, and everyone in between.

The rooms at the Opus have all been recently redesigned by local designer Robert Bailey and are all vibrantly colored, and feature art and photography from local artists; most notably Tiko Kerr and Mark Mizagala. Yaletown is home to some of the best art galleries, and is definitely worth exploring if you ever visit.

The Opus offers complimentary chauffeured car service in a luxury BMW 7 series, 24hr room service, twice daily turn down service, high-speed internet, bikes you can use to explore the area and last but not least day care and walking services if you happen to travel with your pet!

Thanks to the Opus for accommodating me during my stay in Vancouver!
