LaCie Limited Edition Blade Runner Hard Drive Imagined by Philippe Starck

French designer extraordinaire Philippe Starck lends his mad design skills to LaCie in this limited edition external hard drive called Blade Runner.

Inspired by the 1982 Sci-Fi classic Blade Runner, the cage-like drive surrounds what appears to be a blob of liquid metal. The radiator design keeps the heat to a minimum which results in better performance.

The 4TB super sturdy drive connects via a USB 3.0.

Sadly, they’re only making 9,999 of them, and there is no date as to when they will go on sale, but I must get my hands on one.
