A Lamp Inspired by M.C. Escher

M.C. Escher’s illustrations are pretty unforgettable so it’s no wonder Note Design Studio was inspired when they designed the MCE Lamp for Belgian design brand PER/USE. The lamp’s wooden frame gives nod to not only Escher’s mathematical illustrations and optical illusions, but Oscar Reuterswärd’s as well.

The blown glass bowl sits within the frame and comes in three different sizes. Lean or tilt the bowl to direct light where you need it or for a soft ambient glow.
