LIGA: Storage Furniture by Pierre Alexandre Cesbron and Matthieu Muller

During a semester at ENSCI Les Ateliers Paris where they were supervised by Jean François Dingjian, Pierre Alexandre Cesbron (ENSCI) and Matthieu Muller (Design Academy Eindhoven) collaborated on a collection of storage furniture called LIGA.

Consisting of a coffee table, bedside table, and a box, the range is made from metal bases with lids that are held on with an elastic nylon ligature. The band keeps the lid tightly in place and allows you to raise either side to gain access to the storage area. The series is finished off with a gradient color scheme that’s applied by sublimation.
