With a house that looks like a modern museum, the interior can’t disappoint. The use of the space, the connection with the exterior landscape, and the wonderful library are just few examples of integrating the look of the outdoors with the inside. Designed by A-cero.
Still, I can’t see myself living in such a place. There’s something too about the vast expansions of free space to call it personal.

Something about the library section above the glass walls seemed wrong to me. Climbing a latter to reach a favorite book next to a glass wall seems unsafe to me and not very well thought of.I guess spanish Architects are not very concern about safety.

I think having the bookshelves wrapped around the inside of the corner window is an excellent idea. Book spines suffer in sunlight and the colours dull; this way there can be no direct sunlight on the books. And as for the form of the house, it’s pretty amazing. A bit too chaotic for simple everyday living though.

i’d love to see the structural drawings for that beast. some of those spans and cantilevers are outrageous (library) try that s..t in a hurricane zone, the code guys will run you out on a rail!

I agree with Robie, disagree with Villy. It looks safe to me, far enough from glas and the stair seems to be well attached to the bookshelfs. Nice horizontally streched, the chaotic proportions are not well justified, anyways for further details it needs to be carefully studied. Totally MvdR interior designed. I appreciate the work.
