Best known for her work with Alessi, Florentine architect and designer Marta Sansoni also designs lighting for Studio Italia Design, which is distributed in North America by JB Lighting Collection. One of her lighting pieces is Maggio, a laser cut suspension lamp with an open, branch-like pattern designed to evoke feelings of spring. The structure looks as if branches were woven together, overlapping to form its oblong shape.
The lamp’s structure is made of laser cut metal and comes in either a Coppery Bronze or Matte White finish, both of which are paired with a Matte White polycarbonate diffuser
