Magnet is a kitchen company who has launched MagnetMe, a fun way to personalize your kitchen cabinets using a graphic of your own choosing. You can upload it on their website and create just about any configuration you want. You can also choose from a large variety of stock photos as well. Their room visualizer is super fun to play with, and is kind of addicting…
MagnetMe are exclusive to the UK, which is kind of a bummer for the rest of us, but maybe they will soon expand to other places. The images are printed on to Neve cabinets fronts, but can be used to accent any kitchen range including Studio White and Urban Gloss Noir.
A three-step-laser process, which takes place in Italy, ensures that the images are scratch-resistant and durable. MagnetMe units come with a 15 year cabinet and 1-year frontal guarantee, PLUS (this is a super bonus) all personalized MagnetMe cabinets come with a plain replacement door frontal in case you ever want to de-personalize the kitchen, for example if you decide to move. I’m sold.

What a neat idea! I love the splash of green and yellow!

It’s a nice idea, I think Scavolini have done something similar with their kitchens. I think I would get sick of this in my own home pretty quickly anthough having the “de-personalize” option is an excellent idea.

It is a nice idea, but I didn’t stay at their website long because it started blasting this music at full volume that plays on start-up of the “room visualizer.” I don’t understand why websites do this. I fled in panic from their site, quickly trying to turn off the sound before it woke up others in my house. I hate it when websites do this to me.

the photoshop pictures are great examples, but i went to their website and was unsure if these are magnets, or stickers, or what? i couldn’t find additional information after spending several minutes searching. in any case i think this is a clever idea and have seen some other examples of this online but not to such a large scale

I think this is a really cool idea as well! It would be a fun option to mix things up with. We have decided to redo our cabinets recently.. we are thinking about going the DIY Cabinets route. Has anyone else used these? Thoughts?
