
The Marino Chair created by Miron Lior for Voos is a modern take on a hammock-style chair created using rubber and steel.
The traditional solution for a hammock type chair would be leather or canvas. However, here solution comes from a different industry. The seat is made out of interlinked rubber pieces that are used on boats to secure sails. These pieces are therefore inherently tough, but also flexible and stretch slightly under a person. These pieces are attached to the chair’s frame without any additional hardware.

I hope it’s not highly elastic. Looks painful to sit on if you’ll be leaning on that metal bar at the back part. formwise, looks great
