Shin Murayama’s masks are a little bit disturbing but so very creative. They are available through I Don’t Like Mondays and 50% of the proceeds go to Designers Against Aids. So, if you’re feeling lately like you want to express your inner “Wild Thing” then try one of these masks on for size.
It’s great! Perfect for the halloween. It’s scary! Like the mask of murderers in scream and the saw and other frightening films.
I didn’t think I much liked them, so I stumbled on by. But then I hit my back button and I looked again. Really looked. Love how the details (tennis shoe lacings, pop-can tabs) are really just innocuous every-day items but the overall effect is one that is really kind of frightening. Beautiful!!
