Michelle Ann Matthews
Photographer, artist and graphic designer Michelle Ann Matthews is clearly multi-talented. She also embroiders the strangest subjects — urban and construction sites, a subject I didn’t think I would be as taken with as I am. At a distance, these artworks almost appear like photographs, but as you look closer you see that they’re made of thread. The vacancy and emptiness in combination with the celebration of our built environment is truly beautiful.
Very different, but creative!
