Knitting and crochet, albeit making a comeback due to yarn bombers like Magda Sayeg, is still not a technique that’s often used in high-end design. However, Monomoka is changing all of that. Monomoka is two twin sisters, Monika and Kasia Gwiazdowska, who decided in 2004 on a trip to Venice to begin a line of thirteen quality, hand-knitted or crocheted pieces. We’ve collected some of our favorites for this post but visit their site to see the rest of the collection.

Each piece consists of individual handmade parts that are then sewn together to form a larger whole.
