Nox: A Portable Luminaire for Both Indoors and Outdoors

Nox is the latest from Zurich-based designer Alfredo Häberli who created the portable luminaire for Danish brand Astep. The wireless lamp lets you carry it around to wherever you need light, even outdoors, and with its wireless charging system with induction technology, you can use it unplugged. Its touch dimmer offers anything from soft light at a dinner party or a much brighter light for reading, all of which makes it the perfect bedside companion. A single charge keeps Nox going for 15 hours.

Nox is made up of four components: a charging base, anodized aluminum body housing the charge system, a handblown opaline glass diffuser, and a loop handle for carrying.
