Kenyon Yeh‘s latest designs are a series of lamps called Nuo.
Yeh traveled to Indonesia to work with local traditional craftsman and learn rattan weaving techniques. The Nuo lamps are made from rattan strips from banana trees. The nice tapered middle of the lights create a sleek silhouette perfect for use in modern interiors.

Although these light fixtures may look like re-purposed baskets, there is something sleek and sophisticated about them that makes you think twice about that belief.

These lamps are just what I”ve been looking for – ideal for my yoga studio. Where can I buy them?

You can contact Kenyon Yeh at [email protected]. I don’t see them available in his shop, but perhaps he is working with a manufacturer.
