Named for the Japanese paper-folding technique, Italian company Stocco’s Origami bathtub is a sight to behold.
It’s carved side finish is made of Cristalplant® and makes good use of its intrinsic qualities: hygiene, eco-compatibility, easy maintenance. The side of the tub is versatile and can be pantograph-drawn, etched or carved as per drawing. You can also add the lights of Stocco5Sensi, an exclusive system for wellness made to measure.

Finally someone made an attempt to make a bathtub into a more intricate refined part of the interior than what we usually perceive it as. Even though its functionality is above everything else, it doesn’t mean bathtubs can’t be experimented with in terms of their design without limiting yourself to changes in color and shape only.

Stunning. Nice to see taking a design risk with the bath tub. It is so often not a striking design element. Those can certainly stand on their own. Beautiful post.
