Parity Pedestal Set of Drawers by Gareth Batowski

While the immediacy, price, and convenience of flat-pack, particle board furniture sometimes has its appeal, nothing beats hand built, wooden furniture that shows solid craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Parity pedestal set of drawers by UK-based Gareth Batowski fits the latter with its innovative, open structure design and beautiful color palette.

Using traditional tools and materials like local fallen timbers from around Manchester, Batowski built the open structure and drawer runners from Oak and the top and shelf are made from English Oak that’s been ebonised and quarter-sawn to achieve that deep rich look.
