Ramei Keum is a South Korean furniture designer who has a new seating collection called Pisa, inspired by The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
From the designer:
Stability through balance is one out of elements considered when furniture is designed. However, it can be an element limiting design. I wanted to design a stable and convenient sofa in reality although it looked unstable. This form leaned forward as The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a characteristics in this sofa’s form and helps this sofa play a role as a point furniture giving tension to simple space.
