The Ribbon Stool by Nick Rawcliffe of Raw Studio for Deadgood and will be shown in Newcastle as part of Design Event 2011 in October.
The form of the stool is reminiscent of a charity awareness ribbon. Raw Studio sculpted the stool cast from aluminum and then worked with a local plastics company to have it manufactured of recyclable plastic. Ribbon will be launched with the endorsement of major charitable foundations who will receive a donation from the profits of each unit sold. It can also be created in any color to match a charitable cause.

I really like these. After just putting together two benefits for two little girls in the same family who have lymphoma just seeing the ribbon symbol makes me think of all who need help. These would have been great to have to auction off, or just give to the family. Where will these be available for purchase?
