Roundkeep Table

Designed for a coffee table for a lobby space of a financial institution in Chicago, the Roundkeep table is created with three flat, rectangular sheets of material.

Designed by Studio Ide and constructed by John Beck Paper and Steel, this table base consists of the three discreet planes that interlock to create a triangulated form which, when subsequently bent, makes it a sturdy foundation. A piece of strategically cut glass makes a vase out of the center of the table, perfect for freshly-cut flowers.
