This chair and bench designed by Chris Kabel won an award for the innovative use of materials at Dutch Design Week. The unconventional, low-tech technique used to create these pieces saves energy and creates a material that can replace the toxic and single use thermosetting glass and carbon fiber resin systems. The chair and bench are constructed out of polypropylene fabric, a high-grade recyclable, non-toxic, and inexpensive material.
