Shield is a whimsical, ethereal family of lamps inspired by different forms of African Masai shields. Designed by Kutarq Studio and produced by Millelumen, this opalescent lamp has a light, minimalist form that almost seems as if it’s floating in space. The unique shape of Shield—its curvy lines and aluminum extrusion, results in a warm glow that hints at an aura. It has a translucent shade in three different shapes, and is made with acrylic. It utilizes the latest in LED technology to create a product that’s functional and mystical at the same time.
