The Stockholm Chair by Karen Naalsund

If you’re living in tight quarters or you just don’t want many chairs, the Stockholm Chair was made for you. The design, by student Karen Naalsund, is essentially two chairs in one – a lounge chair and a dining chair. The chair is outfitted with simple, low-tech trips that allow you to easily move from an upright sitting position to a lower, more relaxed one.

The solid maple legs give the chair support and stability, plus they match the grips that adjust the chair. Those grips also are what keeps the chair together.

The Stockholm Chair was recently part of the Greenhouse exhibition at Stockholm Furniture Fair where students at Bergen Academy of Art and Design showcased their work.
