Storing Memories: Synapse Cabinet by Alexandra Denton

Inspired by the brain, Swedish designer Alexandra Denton created a sculptural storage cabinet to house your memories. Synapse, with its suspended cubes, reflects the brain’s major roles: shaping connections, storing information, and accumulating memories.

The triangular wooden structure contains three, cleverly suspended boxes to store your precious possessions; spaces to house information and to reveal “the secret of being human.”

From the designer:

What would you store, how and in what order? What don’t you want to store?
A physical ritual to the mystery of ourselves.
