Terre Des Hommes is the second collection of rug designs by Canadian-born, Scotland-based designer Liz Eeuwes that’s inspired by the aerial photographs of landscapes, except this collection is larger and focuses more on agriculturally “formed” terrain of a graphic nature.
These man-made landscapes appear more like abstract paintings than nature, and they’ve been interpreted into comfy underfoot cushions that you might not know were landscape-inspired.
Each rug is individually hand-tufted and many use a technique called carving, which creates a tactile appearance by reducing the height of the pile in certain areas.
