The American Cancer Society Create More Birthdays Contest

Most of you know someone who has been affected by cancer. Maybe it’s a family member, maybe a friend, maybe yourself. My family has been affected by cancer. That’s why when I was asked to be a judge for The American Cancer Society’s Create More Birthdays Contest, I said yes without hesitation.

Another reason why I wanted to get involved was because the contest supports artists, designers, and musicians. Artists and designers can submit original art inspired by The American Cancer Society’s fight against the disease, and the winning artwork will be featured in an American Cancer Society card collection.

Musicians can submit an original music video of you performing the Happy Birthday song. The winning musician will be featured in a nationwide advertising campaign.

Both the artwork and performances will be featured in the More Birthdays Online Gallery alongside superstars like OK-GO, Rihanna, Julia Rothman, and Justin Bieber.

All entries can be submitted here.

If you don’t win the grand prize, your entry will be considered for the Coolest Categories Contest (the one I will be judging) — categories include: Did That Just Happen, Can’t Get it Out of My Head, Most Likely to Go Viral, and Gasp-Worthy. Prizes include a print of your choice from the More Birthdays gallery, a collection of More Birthdays wrapping paper, and a Tiny Prints gift pack.

I am not receiving any compensation for my participation in this program.
