tlf08 Chair by Tobias Labarque
The tlf08 chair by Tobias Labarque is made of beams of Padauk wood, assembled into the form of a lounge chair. The corners of each beam have been rounded off to provide comfort, and the tree rings are shown in plain view so that you can see the tree’s structure.
This has got to be the weirdest looking chair i’ve ever laid eyes on. But that certainly doesn’t mean i don’t like it. The first question that comes to my mind is: is it comfortable to sit on? It’s clear that great craftsmanship went into creating this wonderful looking chair, which is also a great piece of art.
