Trick by Sakura Adachi

Trick is a bookcase designed by Sakura Adachi for Campeggi that turns into a table with two chairs. When both sides of the bookcase are moved from the original position, they function as chairs; what remains in the middle works as a table. The table can be used as a table to have dinner as well as a desk to write, read and work on your computer. It’s a nice space-saving design and reminds me a lot of the Bi Chair we recently featured.

Now that really is clever space saving furniture.
This reminds me of a game of tetris!
But won’t the chairs be very heavy to push or pull when it’s filled with lots of books/magazines? I love how it looks, but I don’t think its practical.
Good idea on paper, but what happens when you used all 6 spaces in the bookshelf then you have to put stuff away to be able to use the chair. Not space saving at all
