That’s kinda nice, but it looks a lot fragile. Considering the weigth works not in only in the Z axes but also it has a X component, the upper screws will undergo a lot of stress and they will be forced to work diagonally, resulting in “bigger” holes with lower efficiency.

I’ve got one of these racks, and I can assure you that they’re VERY strong. Absolutely no chance of breaking it with a bike on, even a massively heavy one.

Hmmm, I doubt I have studs 4″ apart like the screw pattern shows and strong wall anchors would be sketchy, not to mention the big holes visible from their installation. I would prefer the screw holes be two centered to hit the stud, with a few extras around the side for tap-in anchors for stability.
