Based in NYC, Tightrope is a young design company that focuses on creating one-of-a-kind furniture, small objects, and lighting. Instead of using a wide arrange of materials, the studio focuses on using a small but deliberately chosen selection of materials including solid wood, steel, aluminum, glass, and magnets, resulting in an elevated industrial look. Traditional woodworking, glassblowing, and metalworking are combined with modern day technology, resulting in modern designs with an organic, yet familiar touch.
