Water-Cooled House in Singapore by Wallflower Architecture

Wallflower Architecture produced another great home. This one is located at Ewart Park in Singapore and makes the use of a reflection pool as its means of cooling during the hot summer days. Once you get to the second story via a nicely integrated spiral stair you will be surrounded by water. It’s like being on a boat house that doesn’t move. Even that this is not a swimming pool, the occasional splash is mandatory. Big slabs of marble take care of keeping it cool inside and with that much lush vegetation, who needs drapes to cover those big expanses of glass?
