The WiFi, Bluetooth Connected Trefecta DRT e-Bike

Inhabiting a space somewhere between a bicycle, motorcycle, and Wayne Enterprises concept, the Trefecta DRT e-bike is an aluminum frame, 4,000 watt motor powered, wireless app connected eMobility vehicle like no other. Designed to differentiate itself from other more staid eBikes, the Trefecta is wrapped in metal and carbon fiber, a military-inspired design which makes it clear this bike can go places most electric bikes are ill-equipped to explore.

Does anyone really need an electric bike capable of hitting over 40mph, equipped with a handlebar system with built-in wi-fi, a compatible iOS app, and Bluetooth connectivity? Probably not, but that line of questioning sort of misses the point of this “Why? Why not!” $25,000 bike.

The Trefecta DRT’s degree of all-terrain excess is delivered with some serious engineering between a 60-volt lithium-ion battery powered engine (good for 60 miles range), 14-speed Rohlof Speedhub, regenerative braking, and a portable fold-up design, all manufactured with the serious machined angularity of a Michael Fassbender jawline on two wheels.

The Trefecta DRT is available now for pre-order, alongside a Limited Edition CNC machined bike aimed at early adopters, neither which we’ll expect will ever be used in pedal mode with regularity.
