YOY’s Latest Designs Play With Light, Shadow and Perception

YOY, well-known for their unbelievably creative designs, have launched three more, equally stellar works that remain in a class of their own.

YOY-Milan-2015-2-Float

FLOAT is a lamp that appears to be floating in the air. Hidden within the shade are two motors that power the LED lamp to move irregularly, causing the room to move slightly as the light does.

SHADOW is a vase-shaped lamp that casts a light where its shadow should be once the light is turned on. Available in small or large.

LENS is a mirror with a visual illusion. Part of the mirror looks as if it’s being magnified with a lens when it’s really just physically enlarged.
