Lakes + Wells, a Chicago-Based studio founded by husband-and-wife Mark Kinsley and Tamera Leigh Staten, has released a new and updated version of their beautiful Riveli Shelving system, now available in solid machined aluminum in several different finishes. The beauty of the Riveli is in its modularity. Each shelf can be attached to the walls with limitless configurations, from traditional grids to asymmetric corner assemblages. When not in use, Riveli can be flipped upright to sit flush against the walls and simply flipped down when needed. On its own, Rival functions as a piece of wall art or mirror. When the necessity arises, its primary function as a shelving system is minimalist, streamlined, and architectural.
