Aerial Photograph Wall Mural Made of 44,000 Golf Tees

What can you do with 44,000 golf tees? You can make one gigantic, and most impressive, wall mosaic. It took Andrea Kordos and Joe Knight of blackLAB architects inc. four months and approximately 43,964 golf tees to make this wall magic happen in their very own office. Well, that, and a lot of hammering.

They used a pixelated image of an aerial photograph of the surrounding neighborhood and used that as their guide. They had no idea it would take so long to complete but you can’t beat the results.
