See how these average tables become kinetic art pieces for the home using a layer of sand, a steel ball, and a hand-built robot.
GRIT, from bartmann berlin, has the ability to function as stool, bench, trunk, or planter, making it a great small space solution.

Mmmm. I can’t say I’m impressed with this design.
Perhaps the basic concept has its merits, but the execution looks very crude.
For one thing, how does one move this thing around? It looks like it might be quite heavy.
I hope the edges have been sanded, as one would have to slide one’s posterior across a lot of edges and snag clothing and skin.
The curves look like they’ve been crudely or hastily cut. The bolts and nuts also contribute to its crudeness.
I’m also not optimistic about the ultimate comfort of this chaise. I’d want to be able to shift around in it and it seems that would be difficult.

Personally, I like the shape but it needs something…like cushioning? If that’s the kind of comfort level I was looking for I’d just lay on a hardwood floor.

very interesting.
Though, I know a company that has already developed such a concept since 2004.
I think this is the company: http://www.dotkite.eu/home/

I like this a lot
I am currently in the process of doing an A level project using similar techniques as these.
In reply to some of the other comments sitting on chairs made like these are very comfortable and I wouldn’t have this to be any different.
I’m afraid I do agree that it doesn’t quite look finished and there are areas that need to be refined. Also it does look heavy.
All in all though, good work.
Tim
