It’s funny, I’ve been thinking that alchemy was starting to appear as a trend lately and—BAM—Material Lust sends me an email about their recent works that are clearly influenced by this ancient idea of science-meets-magic.
Their Pagan Chair and Alchemy Table are made of matte black powder-coated steel. The Pagan Chair has a seat made of smoke Lucite and the table features a beautiful geometric slice of polished brass. Makes you wonder how these could be used… deep in a dungeon somewhere where philosophers are mixing magical powders and making elixirs…
