Design Studio Dragon Art designed this apartment in Gdynia, Poland with a close attention to detail and a minimal color palette. The project began as two smaller, connected apartments that were opened up to work for the needs of a family of four.
The bright apartment has an open plan for the kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. The white walls and ceilings are paired with a wall of built-in white cabinets that have wood accents. Large sliding glass doors keep the space light and airy.
Suspended above the living room is the FLOS Aim pendants designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The black color ties in with the dining chairs and some of the kitchen cabinets and backsplash.
The minimalist kitchen features simple white cabinets and countertops with a black backsplash and appliances.
Storage is hidden everywhere behind panels that have no knobs, making you have to guess which ones have space behind them.
Light wood floors span the interior keeping the spaces bright.
The minimal color palette continues in the bedroom with black, white, and grays.
Even though the bathroom is full of white, black, and wood, they brought in silver tiles in the shower to dress it up.
Metallic tiles were brought into the other bathroom as well on the wall above the tub.

This apartment is beautiful, thank you for sharing it! I especially like the black FLOS Aim Pendants. And the accent colors are captivating, such as the torquoise chair and the blue day bed. I can just see the Boy Blue Rug from FeltBallRug.com fitting so nicely in there. Have you seen it? Don’t you agree?!
