Unlike a regular fan, Aridus Den can cool below room temperature all while remaining nearly silent — there are no moving parts — enabling your dog to snooze without (sudden) interruption. It differs from an air conditioner or refrigerator, though, in that it does not use any refrigerant. So, there’s no worrying about toxic gas leaks or air pollution.
With sensors that detect the temperature of the room as well as the temperature of the bed itself, the Aridus Den keeps your dog cool (or warm!) all while using less energy than a lightbulb. Eventually, the sensors will learn your dog’s occupancy patterns, enabling it to react faster and become even more energy efficient, even triggering different energy-saving modes based on use.
