Bee Johnson’s Where Dreaming Dogs Go

Bee Johnson’s Where Dreaming Dogs Go is the story of just that — where dogs “are” when they’re twitching their feet and noses, making muffled barky sounds, and, like Dottie, flopping their tails around while they sleep. The main character in the book is none other than Johnson’s rescued pittie, Annie. The gorgeous illustrations (made from both traditional cut-paper and digital collage) transport me immediately to doggie dreamland, which seems like a pretty awesome place to be.

Bee Johnson is an artist, illustrator, and designer living in New York. You can check out more of her work on her web site and get a better look at Dreaming Dogs here.

Katherine, who lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina, curated her own dog blog for a couple of years before joining the Design Milk team. If she ever won the lottery, she’d most definitely spend it all on live music & airfare to New York City. Other interests include craft beer, banjos, books, & BBQ.
