I had to round up my favorite press pieces that I received from ICFF. First the biz cards:
There were two business cards that immediately made me say “wow”!
First, PIE Studio’s card folds into a piece of pie. Clever, right? Even cooler is their brochure, which is also shaped like a slice of pie, and unfolds into an entire pie! Yum.
And next, designer Ufuk Keskin, who created the Sheetseat, a folding chair from one piece of plywood. His card folds into a teeny tiny chair! Here is the actual chair:
Brinca Dada’s press kit for their amazing Emerson doll house featured this elaborate folding paper house complete with Bertoia chairs and a Nelson bench. It was really fun to make, despite my poor paper-folding skills — I wouldn’t walk down those sketchy stairs.
And finally, Arper’s press pack was very pretty from a graphic design standpoint. Clean, simple, modern. It also included a notebook, which I will be putting to good use.

How fun are these?!! I love cleverly designed press kits and with the digital age taking over – and (ehem dwindling budgets) they seem to be becoming a dinosaur of an idea. Thanks for the peek at the press room design stars! :-)

Thank you for the post! The businesscard was actually designed by a brilliant designer, Emily Berry. Here is the link to the businesscard on her website: http://www.berrycreative.org/sheetseat.html

Great post! I always take note of the graphic design of various interior design companies, especially at ICFF. Once a designer always a designer…
Absolutely loved Pie when I was handed a “slice” at ICFF.
Agree that the Sheetseat folding chair was so cool!
Saw Brinca Dada’s doll house and want one for my daughter. It was reasonably priced. Missed their cards, so am glad I saw them here-fun.
I also loved the design of Office Planner Pte – great colors and logo. Can see at http://www.o-planner.com.
