Big Big Pixel gives nod to those tiny little bits that make up the digital world – the almighty pixel. In this case, they’re blown up and exaggerated, cartoon-like, but they’re here to protect your gear in all their pixelated goodness.
Available in the 8-Bit bumper for your iPhone 4 or 5 or the 8-Bit sleeve for your iPad Mini, iPad, 11″ or 13″ MacBook Air, or your 13″ MacBook Pro Retina. The iPad Mini sleeve can also fit any other device below 8″.

I enjoy seeing how the digital icons from the early days of Windows are making their way into reality. I think I’ve seen a pixelated bin that looks like the trash icon somewhere before too.
The fashion of 8 bit is definitely a retro design that is coming back in various forms e.g. classic movie posters have been re-invented by some graphic designers that favour this geeky style.

Disappointed that the phone case does not match the original black & white logo on the original Macintosh.

Also, no case for iPhone 4 models?

Nicely written and thought about blog post, love the old styles made into the new era.
