Bikes: The New Art Canvas

#UnchainMe is a new art installation highlighting the intersection of art and transportation. Specifically, bicycles. Martone Cycling Co. and retail brand Ron Robinson have teamed up to highlight the work of influential artists on an unexpected canvas.

LA-based artists ToMo, Fallen Fruit, Sket One and Zachary Crane were each given a Martone Cycling Co. bike to reimagine. Not only are they reimagining the look of the bike, but also the functionality of the bike as transportation, but also a work of art.

The Bikes are on display at Robinson’s store in Santa Monica and are up for sale (spoiler alert: they’re not cheap!). A fifth bike will be displayed and available for purchase to the public at Robinson’s Melrose Avenue Store.
