Blu Dot Debuts New Products during NYCxDesign 2016

Contemporary design brand Blu Dot recently launched new additions to their already vast collection. From mesh loungers to task chairs to a sassy bed frame, each piece echoes the brand’s penchant for modern design at affordable prices.

The Branch Dining Table is meant for “those with good taste.” Featuring a durable, weathered solid oak surface, its powder-coated steel legs hold the table up in a way that looks like branches. It comes in three different finishes and sizes to fit your taste.

Lush or not, the Shale Bar Cabinet is no joke. With a sleek and welcoming wood exterior and fulll grain leather accents, the cabinet includes three adjustable shelves, a bottle rack, and a stemware holder. Perfect for those who love to entertain at home.

Ready Stacking Bar Stool lives up to its name. Perfect for smaller spaces, this stackable stool has a molded plywood steel seat and steel sled legs. It comes in black, white, and a grey-green.

The Hot Mesh Lounge Chair and Ottoman (also pictured at the top of this post) are colorful, graphic chairs inspired by rattan. The set is perfect for indoors and out, and stackable for easy storage. Coming in 6 different colors, there is a Hot Mesh chair for everyone.

Who doesn’t want a dandy in their lives? This chic, elevated Dandy Sofa has a luxurious high back and a set of slender, tubular steel gams. This is not meant for sinking, but ideal for those who like firmer seats and backs. As designer Scott Smrstick described it, the Dandy Sofa is “like a treefort for your living room.”

The Strut Table gives nod to architecture with its minimal lines and clean structure. It was re-imagined for the outdoors, and the white zinc-plated steel face is perfect for dining alfresco.

Described as a “little bit country and a little bit rock and roll,” the Ditto bed adds a vintage twist to contemporary design. Solid wood bedposts are softened by a round, upholstered grey headboard that adds a softer touch.

Dubbed the “Productivity Killer”, this new standard queen bed frame is serious about sleep. With classic proportions and eye-catching legs, the upholstered headboard even has a gentle recline, perfect for some upright lounging. It comes in all sizes and has different fabrics and leg finishes.

The Daily Task Chair adds a touch of fun and whimsy to your every day. The seat and back provide ample padding, while five wheels make it easy to take swivel breaks and relieve some stress.
