Japanese wooden industry Sakai Sangyo co., Ltd has launched a new brand called Buchi, which is a play on the word “fuchi,” meaning “rim” in Japanese. The “rims” of each toy are painted in a playful color by local craftsmen. The toys are all wooden, encouraging education about the role of trees and forests in making objects in our lives as well as educating about sustainable forestry.
Designed by Tokyo-based designer Fumie Shibata, the current collection consists of toy cars, a car-shaped toybox, a chair, dominoes, and a stackable puzzle.

Konbanwa
Very nice toys, we saw something similar inside JETRO´s national booth at Maison et Objet Paris this year, but not so defined in shape and colour.
Are they available in Europe?
Best regards
