If you have kids or know anyone who does, you know it’s easy to get eyeballs deep in a sea of plastic toys that seem to have a very short shelf life. That, along with a love of the 60s modernist vibe, led to Candylab Toys being born. The brand merges the same type of mid-century craftsmanship its designers evoked with their love of classic American cars to result in a collection of modern wooden toys with a vintage feel.
So far, Candylab Toys has successfully completed three Kickstarter campaigns to help them launch new models, and currently they’re up to 16 that are available for purchase, including a Woodie, Camper and Police Car.

This reminds me (a little too much) of Floris Hovers’s toy products, which are way more elemental and iconic.
